AOD Summer Tour So Far & So Forth
Eight shows. Five band members, Five states. Two sons. Four sit-ins. One rainbow. A whole lotta Dust. We started on the shore of Mirror Lake, playing to a hillside packed with people—and hundreds more listening from boats and paddleboards. From there came the heat of the Shea Theater, ridiculous energy at the Narrows, a homecoming at the Stone Church and our first visit to Park City Music Hall.
My sons Cole and Jed joined us along the way for “You Lay the Dust” and “Things That Fly.” Hearing the crowds sing with them was one proud-dad moment after another. Then Colorado did what Colorado does: big skies, mountains, a massive alpine meadow in Avon, rain showers and a rainbow hanging over the whole affair. Windsor and Globe Hall brought the thunder on either side.
To everyone who sang, danced, sweated, floated and weathered the weather with us—thank you. See you in the near days
