I was talking with John Leccese - my band made of 20 years and one of my closest friends about a gap we had in our spring schedule. John and I have a nice ying/yang way of interacting he’s what we have decided is passive assertive and I am decidedly spastic. John was munching on something, presumably a ham sandwich and casusually siad “you know what you should do? Play 3 nights solo accoustic, cover your entire catalogue - not repeats. Fast forward 2 hours, then two days and voila with the help of our wonder woman-like Annabel Lukin’s and a beautiful venue where I knew half the staff and voila - 3 nights.
